On Monday, October 19, estheticians and skin professionals joined us at the Lumapharm office in Etobicoke for a full certification day on one of the most requested treatments in the industry: Procell Therapies microchanneling combined with VAMP PDRN serum.
We kept the groups small, with two sessions of up to 10 people each. That left room for real questions, a close-up view of the protocol, and conversations that kept going well after the slides ended.
Why PDRN, and why now
PDRN has been one of the most requested facials for the past three years, and demand isn’t slowing down. Clients are asking for it by name, and many clinics want to offer it with confidence rather than guesswork.
PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a skin-supporting ingredient made of DNA fragments, valued for its role in skin repair and regeneration. On its own it’s popular. Paired with microchanneling, it becomes one of the most effective protocols on a treatment menu today.
The theory session
Each session opened with a theory lesson led by our educator Kimberly. The group covered:
• The science of PDRN: what it is, how it supports the skin, and where VAMP fits
• Microchanneling vs. microneedling: how Procell’s approach differs, and why that matters for comfort, downtime and product delivery
• Building the combined protocol: why the micro-channels created by Procell make it an ideal partner for PDRN serum
• Real results: before-and-after cases that showed what the treatment can achieve
From theory to the treatment bed
After the theory lesson, everyone gathered around the treatment bed for a live demonstration on a model, following the full protocol from preparation to finish. Seeing each step up close, from skin prep through Procell application and VAMP serum, made the theory concrete, and attendees could see the skin right after treatment.
Certified and ready
Attendees left certified in the Procell microchanneling + VAMP PDRN protocol, ready to bring it back to their treatment rooms.
